I adore these illustrations by Nicoz Balboa. I think they fall under the category of pop surrealism, but I’m not sure. Whatever they are, I adore their feel and look. Especially the first one with the zebra in it.

I am involved in a pin-it-forward blog movement started by the lovely Victoria from SFgirlbybay. It is a movement based on the application pinterest, which is a visual bookmarking site, set up so you can share and bookmark all the visuals you come across on the web on boards and see what other creative thinkers have also pinned.

What Home Means To Me :

Home means love. Love is an enormous word, I know. But here are a few things that are essential to love, and thus, essential to home for me.

Having a cup of tea in the comfort of my home, with my loved ones, is a home essential.

Flirty, edgy, dark expression. The freedom to be who I am, when I feel like it is essential for home.

Even though pinterest removed this pin for it's apparantly graphic nature (apparantly boobs are too graphic), I am including this image because I am a jeweler and I am a tough chick. Home means my home workshop and being constantly surrounded by creative possibilities.

Home means me and my cutie pie, David. Bottom line is that Wherever he is, is home to me!

Last, but definitely not least, are my two dogs, Lucy and Henry. They give me love and happiness without end.

This week went by so fast! After spending most of the day yesterday trying to refine my website, I’ve gotten it almost to the point where I am satisfied. I won’t,however, rest until the header at the top has my custom image. This is proving to be a lot more complicated than I had foreseen, hopefully I can get a html guru to help me with it today.

In the meanwhile, here are a few beautiful things I have found around the web that have inspired me lately.
